CHICAGO - Head volleyball coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley announced the Flames' spring schedule Tuesday, a slate that begins this Saturday, and includes a home tournament at the Flames Athletic Center on Saturday, April 21.

The Flames will open the spring campaign at Northern Illinois' tournament this Saturday (March 31). UIC will then play in road tournaments at Western Michigan (April 7) and Loyola (April 14), before wrapping up the slate at home (April 21) against NIU, Illinois State, Milwaukee, Green Bay and Western Illinois.

UIC is coming off a fifth-place finish in the Horizon League last season - Kelsey Safranek, a senior to-be in 2012, along with freshman Sara Sternard, were both named to the League's first-team.
