CHICAGO - As the 68th season of UIC men's basketball begins to take shape, UICFlames.com will be highlighting the 2014-15 newcomers during the next several weeks, giving fans an inside scoop on the fresh faces that head coach Howard Moore will have in his arsenal for the upcoming campaign.

Getting to Know the Newcomers continues with junior Jason McClellan. The 6-foot-9 forward comes to UIC after competing two years at Eastern Wyoming College. During his sophomore season he averaged 11.6 points per game and shot nearly 40 percent from behind the arc. During UIC's summer trip to Canada, McClellan went 6-of-12 from the outside and led the team in three-point shooting percentage.
