CHICAGO – Seeking the program's first ever berth into the postseason, the UIC women's soccer team (6-11-0, 4-3-0 HL) will play its final two matches of the regular season at Flames Field, beginning Saturday with a 7 p.m. CT kickoff against Wright State (9-7-0, 4-3-0 HL). The first 150 UIC students in attendance will receive a free winter hat.

The Flames are on a program-record four match conference win streak after their most recent 2-1 victory over Green Bay (Oct. 18).

Horizon League Standings
Positioned with a 4-3-0 conference record, UIC is in a three-way tie with Wright State and Cleveland State for fourth place as the top six teams will advance to the Horizon League Tournament, set for Oct. 30 - Nov. 4. The Flames' four wins match a program best set last season.

Scouting the Flames
UIC has scored in a program-record eight straight games as it has outscored league foes, 9-2, in that span. Of the 20 total goals,
Tamae Douglas leads the drive with four tallies while Valentine has scored a team-best three goals in conference play. Everin has been credited with four of the team's 14 assists with Valentine adding a pair. The third-most shots (228) in the Horizon League have been taken by the Flames with top marks from Everin (34) and Douglas (33). Ninety-five of those attempts have been on goal with Douglas (16) and Everin (13) at the top again. Â

Annie DiCanio and
Tara Khayam have split time in goal against conference foes and combined for 27 saves, as UIC owns 81 overall on the year. DiCanio has taken a top league goals-against-average of 0.82 to rank fourth among fellow Horizon League keepers and is 3-1-0.

Scouting the Raiders
Wright State has gone 2-1-0 in the month of October after picking up wins against Oakland, 2-0, and Cleveland State, 1-0. Its additional conference wins on the year have come against Youngstown State, 4-0, and Green Bay, 2-1.

The Raiders have scored 28 goals this season with 13 coming in conference matches. Sarah Colvin (6) and Jordyne Helinski (4) lead the team overall while Mattie Cutts (3) has been the most productive against league foes. Colvin and Aaliyah Patten have been a threat with six assists apiece with a combined seven in conference. The team has taken 174 (75 HL) swipes at the ball with Helinski (29/12), Patten (26/10) and Colvin (24/12) registering top marks. The trio has also acquired 42 shots on goal.

Maddie Jewell has been the primary goalkeeper for Wright State with more than 1,100 minutes under her belt. With 49 saves, she has six shutouts, five complete, and a 1.06 GAA. She has made 21 stops in league action with three clean sheets and a 1.15 GAA.
