CHICAGO – The UIC women's tennis team will play host the University of Illinois Springfield on Friday, Oct. 12 for a fall dual. The two teams will face off starting at Noon CT at the Flames Outdoor Tennis Courts.

Lucie Prochazkova took a 6-4 win versus Utah's Whitney Turley and Leah Heimuli to highlight doubles.
The University of Illinois Springfield is 2-0 so far this fall, sweeping Illinois Wesleyan 7-0 on Sept. 21 and edging past Lindenwood 4-3 on Sept. 22. Friday's match will be the first-ever meeting between the Flames and Prairie Stars.
Following the fall dual, the Flames will participate in the ITA Regionals Oct. 18-22 in Ann Arbor, Mich.
