Georgie Sanders and
Karyna Bihel wrapped up competition at ITA Regionals this weekend. All three competed in singles, while Prochzkova and Bihel joined up to compete in doubles.
SINGLES HIGHLIGHTS
Lucie Prochazkova took on Marharita Tavpash of Bowling Green and was bested in three sets, 6-1, 4-6, 7-5.
Georgie Sanders battled Danielle Wolf from Ohio State, coming up short in the first set 7-5 before falling 6-1 in the second set.
Karyna Bihel had a tough battle against the ranked Ava Markham (Wisconsin), and mirrored Sanders with a 7-5, 6-1 loss.
DOUBLES HIGHLIGHTS
Karyna Bihel and
Lucie Prochazkova faced off with Horizon League foes Imaan Hassim and Anastasiia Khokhlova of Youngtown State in the first round of doubles and came away with an 8-7 (6) win. The pair then went up against Michigan's Giulia Pairone and Anca Craciun and were dealt an 8-6 loss.
