CHICAGO – The UIC women's tennis team will make its way to Cincinnati, Ohio this weekend for the newly named University of Cincinnati Tennis Pam Whitehead Fall Invitational. The Invitational will run from Friday, Oct. 26 through Saturday, Oct. 27 and will be played at the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center on the university's campus.
The Flames will be facing opponents from Xavier and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in addition to the hosts.

Lucie Prochazkova and
Karyna Bihel represented the Flames last weekend at ITA Regionals in Ann Arbor, Mich. Prochazkova and Bihel competed in doubles and came away with an 8-7 (6) win over Horizon League foe Youngstown State.
Last year at the Cincinnati Invitational, the Flames took home nine victories, four in doubles and five in singles. Seniors
Viktoria Seifert and
Georgie Sanders finished with two singles wins apiece, while Sanders and partner
Lejla Colic combined to own two of UIC's four wins in doubles.
The UC Tennis Pam Whitehead Fall Invitational will serve as the final tournament of fall action for the Flames, who will return to the court for the start of the dual season in January.
