INDIANAPOLIS – Melika LeBlanc has been named to the Horizon League Women's Tennis All-Academic Team, the conference office announced on Thursday. It is the senior's first career All-Academic award.

LeBlanc showed great success on the court and in the classroom this year, posting a 12-6 mark in singles play this dual season while pursuing a degree in Finance. The senior excelled in Horizon League play, going 6-1, with five of those conference wins coming by way of straight sets.

In doubles she joins Rachel Le Comber, and the pair has spent most of the season in the No. 2 spot for the Flames. The duo is an undefeated 5-0 against conference opponents, and has won its last six matches overall.

LeBlanc and the rest of her teammates will close out the regular season this weekend as they welcome Youngstown State and Cleveland State to Chicago.
