CHICAGO – First year head coach Tasha Pointer unveiled the non-conference schedule for the 2018-19 season on Tuesday. The non-conference slate includes four home games and wraps up with a trip to Las Vegas for the Holiday Hoops Classic.

The 2018-19 season gets underway at home in the UIC Pavilion, as the Flames take on former Horizon League-member Valparaiso on Wednesday, Nov. 7. UIC will make a quick trip up to play city-foe Northwestern on Thursday, Nov. 15 for its first road matchup of the season before coming home to face another city rival in Loyola (Nov. 17).

November wraps up with a pair of road matches at Marquette (Nov. 24) and Eastern Michigan (Nov. 27). Last season against the Eagles, the Flames posted 31 points in the fourth quarter to come back from a 15-point deficit and stun Eastern Michigan by a final tally of 73-70.

The Flames will welcome Mid-American Conference-member Miami University to the Pavilion on Dec. 1 before heading one state east for a pair of road duals with Evansville (Dec. 5) and Indiana State (Dec. 8).

UIC will return home to Chicago on Dec. 19 for its first ever meeting with PAC-12 member UCLA before closing out the non-conference program at the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic. The Flames have been matched with Fairfield (Dec. 21) and Jackson State (Dec. 22) in the holiday tournament.
