CHICAGO - UIC head cross country and track & field coach Ashley Lucas has announced the addition of 23 student-athletes to the Flames cross country and track & field programs. Entering her fourth season as head coach, Lucas welcomes 10 women and 13 men to the team this fall. 
 
"We're excited to announce our 2020-2021 men and women's cross country/track & field recruiting class! Each year I feel like our recruiting class, especially our depth, gets stronger and stronger," said Lucas. "The coaching staff did an excellent job in the recruiting hunt and really elevated our standards so that we can create the most competitive environment. This is a class that we know will make an immediate impact on our program and help us strive after the goals and vision we have as a team. Each one of them brings something unique and special to the table and as a coaching staff we can't wait to get them all on campus and get to work with them."
