UIC fell to Marquette Sunday morning by a 5-2 final.  Ana Jover and Tamara Malazonia earned points for the Flames with singles wins.

The Golden Eagles won the doubles point and then went up 2-0 after the first singles decision.  They later won three straight singles points in the bottom half of the lineup to clinch the win.

The Flames will return home on Friday to host Middle Tennessee State.

Doubles Results

• Agnes Gustafsson and Lea Forste-Dinell dropped a 6-2 set on the #3 court.
• Marquette clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 win over Marina Hermanny de Figueiredo and Dominika Hrabalova at #2.
• Tamara Malazonia and Ana Jover's set at #1 went unfinished.

Singles Results

• Gustafsson could not get traction in a 6-2, 6-3 loss at #1.
• Jover got the Flames back into the match by winning her #3 match, 6-3, 6-1.
• Hrabalova fell 6-0, 6-4 at #4.
• Forste-Dinell dropped a 7-5, 6-3 decision at #6.
• Hermanny de Figueiredo lost on the #5 court.
• Malazonia picked up a 6-4, 6-4 win at #2.
