CHICAGO – Agnes Gustafsson and Ana Jover of the UIC women's tennis team were named the Horizon League Doubles Team of the Week, the League announced Wednesday.
 
The honor marks the third double team award of the season for the duo, who improved to 10-2 in dual match doubles action this past weekend.
 


In UIC's 6-1 victory over Milwaukee this past Saturday, Gustafsson and Jover took on Milwaukee's top doubles team in the #1 spot. The duo picked up the 6-4 victory, helping the Flames secure the doubles point. With the win, the tandem has now won eight straight sets in doubles play as a pairing.
 
The Flames are back in action this weekend with road matches at Youngstown State (April 15) and Cleveland State (April 24).
