CHICAGO – UIC's men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up a weekend of co-hosting and competing in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships. On the Monday, the Flames 4x400m women's relay team was added to UIC's history books as the second fastest indoor time.
On Sunday, the opening day, there were several school records broken and additions to the top 10 all-time lists. Both
Olivia Dumas (24.85) and
Max Rivera (21.87) hold the top time in UIC history for the 200m.
Nyarai Terry,
Emma Creviston,
Rosie Campbell-Watt, and
Sacrad Michelin all joined UIC's top 10 performance list during championship weekend.

"We are incredibly proud of our team's effort in our inaugural Missouri Valley Conference Championships this weekend that included a few more school records and additions to the top 10 all-time lists," says Interim Head Coach Paul Zavala. "We look forward to building momentum for the outdoor track & field season and having our team ready for the Outdoor MVC Championships in the next few months."
The Flames will return to action for their 2023 outdoor season on April 1
st.
