MILWAUKEE, WISC. – The UIC men's tennis team returned to action on the road Sunday, as it was in Wisconsin to take on Marquette. The Golden Eagles secured the doubles point, but the Flames would come back strong in singles play, earning a 4-1 victory.

Aleksa Bucan earned his second straight singles victory in the number two singles spot, by a final score of 7-5, 6-4.
Gustavo Schwebel also secured his second straight singles victory, going three sets but earning a 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 win. In the number three slot,
Jai Vallurupalli earned a straight set 7-6, 6-4 win to put UIC on the brink of outright victory in the match. After earning a victory in doubles paired with Schwebel,
Miroslav Cvjetan would nail down the win for the Flames with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 triumph.

The Flames earn their second win all-time against the Golden Eagles, with the first being back in 2006.

Winners of two straight matches, the Flames will return to action on Tuesday, when they meet nearby Chicago State for a mid-week matchup.
