WATERLOO, Ill. – The Missouri Valley Conference announced its postseason awards after the conclusion of its Women's Golf Championship Tuesday afternoon, and among the recipients named were UIC's Dasa Urbankova and Megan Tang.

Urbankova was selected for the All-Tournament Team and was joined by Tang for the All-Conference Team.

In her lone season with the Flames, Urbankova began the year by breaking a program record of shooting three-under-par at the Golfweek Fall Challenge back in September. The graduate transfer now holds the UIC record for lowest round and lowest round vs. par at the event. She was recognized as Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week on four separate occasions during the season. Urbankova has placed in the top-20 in four different tournaments this season, including tying for second at the Braun Intercollegiate in Evansville. She finished tied for sixth after shooting 17-over-par in the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golf Championship.

Senior Megan Tang started her season strong when she tied for first at the Briar Ridge Invitational on Sept. 25-26 at two-under-par. That performance resulted in her being awarded MVC Golfer of the Week. She finished the fall season with a pair of top-five finishes in the Loyola Parkinson Invitational (T-3) and the Braun Intercollegiate (T-5). Her best finish in the spring came at the Indiana State Spring Invitational, where she tied for 23rd place after shooting 20-over-par. Tang shot 41-over-par at the MVC Women's Golf Championship.

"Dasa had a great year, she was very consistent," Flames head coach Mat Blair said. "Megan was our only win on the year. It was a nice surprise in how she finished the year. Well deserved honor for both of our players."
