CHICAGO – The UIC softball team looked to even the series with Bradley on Saturday, as the two teams met for a 4:00 p.m. first pitch. In a back-and-forth contest at Flames Field, UIC earned the 4-3 victory to bring the series level.
COMMENT FROM SENIOR CHRISTINA TONIOLO
"I think this team produced on all cylinders today.
Miranda Gomez who had my back, came in during a high pressure situation and absolutely killed it.
Anna Walker with a homerun and some amazing plays on defense, Larissa Villa making that catch. Those things are huge and let's go get us that series tomorrow."
COMMENT FROM JUNIOR ANNA WALKER
"It was a great team win today. Defense played great. Obviously, looking behind me. We hit well today. We strung together a lot of hits. Tina pitched very well. I thought Miranda did a great job in a pressure situation and shutting down the other team."

Bradley started the game off with bases loaded but senior Christina Toniolo finished the inning with a swinging strikeout from the Braves' Addie Welsh.
