CHICAGO– Women's basketball head coach
Ashleen Bracey announced Friday afternoon Tara Green will be transferring to UIC ahead of the 2023-24 season. The senior is joining the Flames with two years of eligibility left after making stops at New Orleans and Kilgore College (TX).
"We are thrilled to welcome Tara Green to our Flames family," Bracey said. "She brings a much-needed paint presence to our roster. She is an incredibly efficient player that impacts the game on both sides of the ball. Tara brings Division I playing experience and a competitive mentality that will elevate our team. She is a high character young lady that is committed to helping build UIC into a championship caliber program."
