Paul Zavala announced the UIC track and field programs 2024-25 indoor schedule earlier today. The first meet will be the Grand Valley State Holiday Open on Friday, Dec. 6.

Flames to Watch
Men
- Junior Daniel Chavez (Berwyn, Ill. Morton) comes into the season at the no. 3 on the UIC all-time indoor list in the 5,000-meter.
- Senior Luke Malone (Plain City, Ohio/Jonathan Adler) sits at no. 2 all-time in the indoor 3,000-meter.
- The Flames also return seniors Max Rivera (Naperville,Ill./Neuqua Valley) and Paul Sackman (Lincolnwood, Ill./Niles West) return as two of the best Flames in program history in the indoor 60-meter and 200-meter. Rivera is the school record holder in both events. Sackman is currently at no. 5 all-time in the 60-meter, and second all-time in the 200-meter.

Women
- Grad-Transfer Alessia Sarussi (La Grange, Ill./Lyons Township) will look to make an immediate impact for the Flames, having a successful career at the Division Three level, earning four All-American honors in four years.
- Praise Oyebanji (Mundelein, Ill./Mundelein) will head into her sophomore campaign at no. 3 all-time in the outdoor 800-meter.
- The Flames also return the stand out hurdling pair of seniors Haley Dahl (Belvidere, lll./Belvidere North) and Nyarai Terry (Chicago, Ill./Thorton). Dahl currently sits at no. 3 all-time in the outdoor 400-meter hurdles, and Terry comes in at no. 2 in the outdoor 100-meter hurdles.
