2024 UIC Baseball and Softball Broadcast Schedules Released

Softball opens its season this weekend, followed by baseball on Feb. 16

CHICAGO (Feb. 9, 2024)A minimum of 72 UIC baseball and softball games will be broadcast live this season, including 64 streamed on digital platforms and another eight radio productions that will air exclusively on the Flames Network via UICFlames.com.
 
Of the 64 digital broadcasts of Flames baseball and softball this season, 61 can be seen on ESPN+ — 33 baseball contests and 28 softball games, with the majority of these broadcasts also simulcast on the Flames Network. The first of these ESPN+ broadcasts will come at 4:30 p.m. (CT) Saturday, when the UIC softball team visits Cal State Fullerton as part of the Easton Classic, the Flames' opening weekend tournament in Fullerton, Calif.
 
Along with the ESPN+ package, UIC's season-opening baseball series against Big 12 opponent Kansas from Feb. 16-18 will be streamed live on the FloSports subscription service from Whatburger Field in Corpus Christi, Texas.
 
The eight Flames Network exclusive broadcasts include seven UIC baseball games and feature road contests at Big Ten Conference opponents Purdue, Northwestern and Iowa, as well as visits to Northern Illinois and Milwaukee. The Flames Network will also carry UIC's April 7 home softball matchup with Illinois State. All Flames Network games can be heard live and free of charge on the official UIC athletics website, UICFlames.com.
 
The current broadcast schedules for UIC baseball and softball are listed below, while more games may be added as the Missouri Valley Conference and a handful of Flames' opponents finalize their broadcast plans.
