NOTRE DAME, Ind. (Jan. 30, 2025) - UIC will face its toughest competition yet in its fifth meet of the 2024-25 indoor track and field season on Friday and Saturday at Notre Dame's Meyo Invitational. The Flames will look to gauge themselves against some of the top competition in the country.
MEET INFORMATION
Friday - Field events will begin at 2:00 p.m. (CT), with running events set to begin at 3:00 p.m. (CT).
Saturday - Field events will begin at 10:30 a.m. (CT), with running events set to begin at 9:00 a.m. (CT).
The event will take place at the Loftus Sport Center at Meyo Field (
Notre Dame, IN 46556).

AURORA GRAND PRIX RECAP
- The Flames competed in their fourth meet of the 2024-25 indoor campaign in the Aurora Grand Prix, placing fourth for both programs.
- Chavez claimed victory in the Mile with a time of 4:14.01, earning 6th All-Time in UIC history.
- Angel Solis (Aurora, Ill./Waubonsie Valley) took 1st place in the 800m with a time of 1:57.55, while teammate Zachary Barisa (Frisco, TX/Frisco Wakeland) finished 2nd in 1:58.46.
- Olukolajo Sodipe (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) secured 3rd place in the Triple Jump with a mark of 13.50m.
- Oyebanji earned a 1st-place finish in the 400m, clocking in at 58.62, which ranks her 9th All-Time in UIC history.
- Sarussi captured 1st place in the 800m with a time of 2:12.46, moving her to 4th All-Time in UIC history.
- Emma Dubie (Fenton, Mich./Fenton) placed 2nd in the 3000m with a time of 10:19.58.
