Golf Earns First Team Victory of 2025 Fall Season Tuesday

Flames Finish Atop Standings at Windy City Classic

CHICAGO – The UIC women's golf team captured its first team title of the 2025 fall season, winning the Windy City Classic hosted by Chicago State at Harborside Golf Course. The Flames posted a two-round team total of 597 (+39) to finish atop the eight-team field.

Sophomore Camille Rosier and junior Alejandra Ereño led the way for UIC, both tying for first place individually with scores of +5 for the tournament. Ereño took the individual title, beating Rosier in a playoff.

Graduate student Montserrat Ramirez and sophomore Sydney Terada each tied for 10th at +15, while Anastassia Daudin rounded out the lineup with a +20 overall score, placing 19th overall.

FLAMES FACTS

  • UIC recorded rounds of 306 and 291, showing marked improvement in Round 2 to secure the win.
  • Rosier now has three top-10 finishes this fall, including a tie for 9th at the Butler Fall Invitational and 19th at the Brittany Kelly Classic.
  • Ereño's victory marks her best collegiate finish to date.

UP NEXT
The Flames will compete in the Flyer Invitational at NCR Country Club in Dayton, Ohio, beginning Monday, Oct. 13.
