CHICAGO – After a strong opening quarter, the UIC women's basketball team (1-3, 0-0 MVC) came up short against Wisconsin (5-1, 0-0 Big Ten) on Wednesday night, falling 74–53 at Credit Union 1 Arena.
Senior
Jessica Carrothers posted 14 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Redshirt Sophomore
Julia Coleman also scored 14 points, adding six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Graduate student
Sara Zabrecky knocked down three three-pointers and finished with nine points.

- That was the Flames' third straight game with 10+ offensive rebounds, as they finished the night with 31 total boards.
- After hitting three triples, Zabrecky is now four three-pointers away from reaching 100 in a UIC uniform.
- Coleman now has nine steals on the season, averaging 2.3 per game — the fourth-best mark in the Missouri Valley Conference.
- Carrothers remains one of the league's top scorers, tied for first in The Valley at 20.3 points per game.
