CHICAGO – In their final home game of November, the UIC women's basketball team (2-3, 0-0 MVC) earned a 68–54 win over Loyola (1-5, 0-0 A-10) on Saturday afternoon at Credit Union 1 Arena.
The Flames were led by redshirt Sophomore
Julia Coleman, who recorded her second double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Graduate student
Sara Zabrecky and senior
Jessica Carrothers added 12 points each, while sophomore
Tutu Clayton finished with 10 points, three assists and three rebounds.

- The Flames have won the past three meetings against the Ramblers, dating back to December 2022.
- All 12 of Zabrecky's points came from beyond the arc, as she knocked down four three-pointers. She now has 100 career triples at UIC.
- After five games, Coleman is averaging 12.6 points per game, ranking 18th in the Missouri Valley Conference.
- Along with her 12 points, Carrothers dished out a team-high six assists. She is now the fourth player in The Valley to reach 20-plus assists this season and is averaging 4.0 per game.
