CHICAGO – The Missouri Valley Conference announced its weekly award winners Tuesday afternoon, and senior
Harrison Nolan was named MVC Men's Diver of the Week for the third time this season after his performance at IU Indy's House of Champions meet.
Nolan continues to be exceptional on the diving board, earning three top-three finishes highlighted by an event win at IU Indy's House of Champions meet, the program's mid-season invitational. On Thursday, in the one-meter diving event, Nolan placed second, scoring 370.35 points. He followed that up by winning the three-meter diving event on Friday, scoring 400.05 points. He capped off the meet on Saturday placing second in the platform diving event scoring 307.55 points, and reaching NCAA Zone C Qualification scores for the event for the first time this season. Nolan has now reached the NCAA Zone C Qualification scores on all three boards this season. He also reached the qualifying scores in the other two events during this meet
This is Nolan's 14th weekly recognition since joining the Flames and his third this season. He earned MVC Men's Diver of the Week on Oct. 15 and Oct. 28. Nolan has now won six individual events this season. Nolan's accolade continues the UIC men's diving stranglehold on the Diver of the Week award, as it has won the award all five times its been eligible this season.
