CHICAGO – The UIC women's basketball team (0-1) couldn't sustain its early momentum, falling to Robert Morris (1-0) in its home opener Monday night at Credit Union 1 Arena, 78-63.
Senior
Jessica Carrothers led all scorers with 28 points, adding four rebounds and four assists. Fellow senior
Amelia Strong tallied 13 points, converting seven of eight from the free-throw line and pulling down six rebounds. Redshirt Sophomore
Julia Coleman added seven points, and four rebounds in nearly 32 minutes of action.
