GREENWOOD, Ind. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2025 CSC Academic All-District® Team early Tuesday afternoon. Four members of UIC volleyball were recognized for their combined efforts on the volleyball court and in the
classroom.

Seniors Cleo Lorenzo, Francesca Venturini alongside redshirt-sophomores Hannah Ditsworth and Mihaela Harizanova were among the many recognized for their work in the classroom.

 The four were recognized earlier in the month as members of the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Team.

This marks Venturini's second time being recognized by the CSC (2024), and a first-time for Ditsworth, Harizanova and Lorenzo.

Student-athletes must be nominated by communications directors, carry a 3.50 GPA, and compete in at least 90% of the season, starting 66% of matches.
