ATHENS, Ohio — The UIC women's basketball team (4–5) couldn't convert on its final possession and fell to Ohio (4–3) on the road Friday night, 72–70.
Sophomore
Samantha Serrano tied for the game high with 18 points, adding seven rebounds and three assists. Graduate student
Sara Zabrecky hit five 3-pointers and finished with 16 points. Redshirt sophomore
Julia Coleman contributed 15 points and eight rebounds in 29 minutes.

- Coleman added three steals, bringing her season total to 20. Her 2.2 steals per game rank second in the MVC.
