CHICAGO (Feb. 27, 2025) – The UIC baseball team (2-7, 0-0 MVC) returns to road action this weekend, as the Flames will travel down to Cookeville, Tenn. for a three-game series at Tennessee Tech (6-3, 0-0 OVC). The Flames and Golden Eagles have met 11 times previously, with TTU earning 10 victories in those games. The final game of the series Sunday was moved up one hour to accommodate UIC's travel schedule.

UIC returns to road action this weekend after
a dominating 12-2 victory in eight innings over North Park Tuesday night at Curtis Granderson Stadium. The Flames tallied their third game this season with double-digit hits, and had their best team performance on the mound so far this season, holding the Vikings to just four hits.
- Jack Snyder continues to pace the Flames offensively, sharing a team-leading .333 batting average with Lucas Smith.
- RHP Dillon Schueler will start Friday's series opener for the Flames with RHP George Eisenhardt slated to pitch Saturday. Sunday's Flames starter is still TBD.
