CHICAGO (Mar. 7, 2025) – The UIC women's basketball team (13-15, 10-9 MVC) returns to Credit Union 1 Arena for its final two-game home stand in Missouri Valley Conference play, when they host Drake (20-10, 14-5 MVC) for a 2 p.m. (CT) tip-off. The game will be available to stream on ESPN+, listened to for free on the Flames Network, or to follow live stats at
UICFlames.com. After the game, our 11 seniors and two managers will be honored in a post game ceremony.

SCOUTING DRAKE
- This will be the 12th match-up between the Flames and the Bulldogs. UIC is looking to snap the Bulldogs current three game win streak in the series, and for its third win over Drake all time.
- In their last meeting, the Bulldogs beat the Flames, 86-63 at the Knapp Center on Jan. 2. Graduate student Danyel Middleton (Chicago, Ill./Bolingbrook/Marquette) led the Flames with 10 points and three rebounds. Senior Arin Freeman (Little Rock, Ark./North Little Rock/Central Carolina) scored eight points while also leading the team in rebounds with six.
- The Bulldogs led by 20 midway through the third quarter Thursday night, before falling to Valparaiso (13-17, 9-10 MVC) on the road, 66-65.
- Drake remains one of the top offensive teams in The Valley, averaging 78.2 points per game, ranking second in the conference.
- Bulldogs Senior Guard Katie Dinnebier was named a finalist for the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award for the second straight season. The award recognizes the best player from one of 26 conferences considered "mid-major". Dinnebier is currently the only player to average at least 22 points, 7.5 assists and two steals per game since assists became officially tracked in 1985-86.
LAST GAME OUT – VS. NORTHERN IOWA
- The Flames couldn't be stopped on both ends on the floor Thursday night, defeating Northern Iowa (15-15, 10-9 MVC), 76-57 to open their final Missouri Valley Conference homestand.
- The graduate student tandem of Keimari Rimmer (Chicago, Ill./Proviso East/ DePaul) and Jaida McCloud (Peoria, Ill./Richwoods) each collected double-doubles in the win. Rimmer led the team in scoring with 19 points and 12 boards. McCloud collected her 15th career double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
- Freeman also had a big game for the Flames, scoring 17 points, while collecting a season-high seven assists in nearly 25 minutes off the bench.
- The Flames snapped an eight-game losing streak, collecting their first win over Northern Iowa since Dec. 2003.
- The Flames win marks Bracey's 50th win as the head coach of UIC.
