TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – In their final golfing event before the 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Championship next week, UIC competed against seven other schools in Indiana State's Spring Invitational at the Country Club of Terre Haute Monday afternoon. After the two-day event, the Flames placed fourth, scoring a collective 41-over-par.
The Flames were led by junior
Chaewon Jeong, who had a career best finish placing fourth (+8). The three-over-par score was tied for the best two round score for Jeong this season. Freshmen
Anastassia Daudin and
Sydney Terada both placed in the top 20 for the Flames, with Daudin placing T13 (+10) and Terada placing T19 (+12).

FLAMES FACTS
- Shooting eight-over-par is Jeong's best two-round performance of her collegiate career, surpassing her nine-over-par performance at Purdue Fort Wayne's Hammock Beach Invitational on March 14.
- Terada's 12-over-par is also a collegiate high, finishing higher than her showing in Evansville's Braun Intercollegiate last Fall, when she finished tied for 26 (+16).
- The team shot 23 birdies collectively with Jeong leading the team with six birdies across her 36 holes of play.
