CHICAGO – Five weeks out from their season opener, the UIC women's soccer team has announced its 2025 schedule. After making the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) semifinals the last two seasons, the Flames are looking to make the extra step to find themselves in the championship match. 
Starting August 14^th, the Flames begin a competitive non conference schedule to prepare for the MVC season beginning on September 20^th. They kick off the season at home against Illinois at 5:00 p.m.

"We are excited to announce our 2025 schedule!" said head coach David Nikolic. "Each season, we look to compete for an MVC championship, and that only happens by challenging ourselves both within our region and nationally against some top non-conference opponents to prepare us for those Valley matches. This year is no different and will require our best each time out!"

For the 2025 season, the Flames have scheduled multiple top non-conference opponents ahead of the conference season. These matches include facing back-to-back Power 4 programs in Illinois and 2024 Sweet 16 participant Wisconsin to begin the season. 

In September, the Flames will be taking on fellow Chicagoland competitor DePaul before facing Green Bay in a former Horizon League match-up. The Flames kick off the MVC schedule Sept. 20, taking on Evansville on the road. Valparaiso marks the first home MVC contest of the season on Sept. 28. 

Women's Soccer promotional schedule for home matches will be announced at a later date.

• Aug. 17^th vs. Wisconsin (Big Ten opponent/2024 NCAA Sweet 16 participant)
• Aug 24^th vs. Chicago State (Senior Day/doubleheader with men's soccer)
• Sep. 20^th at Evansville (MVC opener)
• Sep. 28^th vs. Valparaiso (MVC home opener)
• Oct. 11^th vs. Drake (2024 MVC Semifinal rematch)
• Oct. 26^th vs. Belmont (Last home match)
• Oct. 30 at UNI (Final regular season match)
• Nov. 2^nd-9^th – Missouri Valley Conference Championships (times and location to be announced)
