Promotion: Back to School Night – Fans entering the arena at Gate 3 can spin the wheel for school-supply prizes and the first 100 students will receive a pizza party prize.

UIC FLAMES (2-4, 0-0 MVC) vs. CHICAGO STATE COUGARS (0-4, 0-0 NEC)

Promotion: UIC Campus Community Game – UIC student organizations with the highest attendance will receive a pizza party.

SCOUTING CENTRAL ARKANSAS
- This will be the first time the Flames and the Sugar Bears are scheduled to meet on the volleyball court.
- Central Arkansas is coming off a 1-2 showing at their home invitational last weekend, getting a five-set win in the I-40 Showdown against Little Rock (2-4, 0-0 OVC).
- Redshirt-junior Laci Bohannan continues to lead the Sugar Bears on the attack, tallying 48 kills and averaging 2.82 kills per set.
SCOUTING CHICAGO STATE
- This will be the 25th matchup between both programs dating back to 1990. Although UIC has a commanding 22-2 lead in the all-time series, Chicago State has taken two of the past four meetings.
- The Cougars are in search of their first victory this season, most recently losing to Green Bay (1-4, 0-0 Horizon) and #6 Wisconsin (3-1, 0-0 Big Ten) at the Badgers Invitational over the last weekend.
- Graduate student Jocelyn Carter leads the Cougars with 27 kills, averaging 2.25 kills per set.
LAST WEEKEND – MOREHEAD STATE'S COMFORT INN-VITATIONAL
- The Flames had a strong showing last weekend at Morehead State's Comfort Inn-Vitational with wins over Radford (1-5, 0-0 Big South) and Toledo (5-1, 0-0 MAC).
- Freshman Ana Petrides tallied a career-high 13 kills in the win over Highlanders. She also had 22 overall kills and 10 total blocks over the weekend to earn Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week honors this week.
- Senior Julieta Sandez notched 30 kills with a .519 attack clip and seven total blocks to earn her second consecutive All-Tournament Team honors. She leads the entire conference with a .456 attack percentage.
- Leading UIC to the five-set victory over Toledo, senior Cleo Lorenzo collected a collegiate-high 21 kills in the win, enroute to earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
