Flames Place Sixth at Ball State’s Brittany Kelly Classic

Alejandra Ereño was the Flames highest finisher, placing 11th.

YORKTOWN, Ind. – In their first golfing event of the 2025 fall season, UIC competed against seven other schools in Ball State's Brittany Kelly Classic at The Players Club at Woodland Trails. After the two-day event, the Flames placed sixth, scoring a collective 63-over-par.
 
The Flames were led by sophomore Alejandra Ereño, who placed 11th (+11). Sophomore Camille Rosier placed 19th (+16) while graduate student Montserrat Ramirez and sophomore Sydney Terada placed 26th (+18).

FLAMES FACTS
  • Ereño, Rosier and Ramirez all had a round shooting a team best one-over-par.
  • Ereño's 11-over-par score and 11th place finish is a six stroke and 24 place improvement from last year's Brittany Kelly Classic.
  • The team shot 26 birdies collectively with Ramirez leading the team with nine birdies across her 36 holes of play.
