SCOUTING BRADLEY
- This will be the 30th match-up between the programs, with the Braves holding a 17-12 lead on the overall series. Since joining the MVC, UIC has gone 5-1 against Bradley.
- The Braves have been in the win column frequently recently, winning three of its past four games. Friday night, they took down Valparaiso (0-20, 0-9 MVC) 79-39. Graduate student Kaylen Nelson led the Braves with 21 points, five three-pointers and six rebounds in just 21 minutes of play.
- Nelson has played and started all 19 games this season for Bradley, leading the Braves in points (17.7 PPG), three-pointers made (58) and second on the team in total rebounds (77).
- Freshman Maya Foz continues to shine in conference play for the Braves, scoring 15.6 points, 3.5 rebound and 2.5 assists for the Braves in eight games against The Valley.
LAST GAME RECAP – VS. ILLINOIS STATE
- The Flames were victorious at home Thursday night, defeating Illinois State (10-9, 4-4 MVC) in a 76-64 win at Credit Union 1 Arena.
- Sophomore TuTu Clayton led the way with a career-high 20 points, sinking a career-high five three-pointers in the third quarter.
- Senior Jessica Carrothers scored 14 points in the win, going six-for-six from the free-throw line. The guard is now 45 points away from reaching 2,000 career points during her time on both the NCAA and NAIA levels.
- Redshirt sophomore Julia Coleman scored 14 points, grabbed seven rebounds and stole the ball three times in the win.
