CHICAGO - UIC is set to compete in two competitions this weekend and in its eighth and ninth meets of the 2025-26 indoor track and field season, at the Blue Demon Alumni Classic hosted by the DePaul University and the Big Meet hosted by Grand Valley State University.

• Daniel Chavez broke a UIC record and placed second in the 3000m in a time of 8:11.92.
• Korima Gonzalez placed 15th in the 800m in a time of 2:13.02.

 
CHICAGO COLLEGIATE INVITATIONAL

• Jahri McClendon won the long jump with a mark of 6.89m.
•  Mia Maglaya won the triple jump with a mark of 10.97m.
