CHICAGO – After erasing a 19-point fourth-quarter deficit, the UIC women's basketball team (10-12, 5-6 MVC) fell 55-53 on a Southern Illinois buzzer-beater in Missouri Valley Conference play at Credit Union 1 Arena Thursday night.
Redshirt sophomore
Julia Coleman led all scorers with 20 points, 13 rebounds and four steals. Sophomore
TuTu Clayton scored a dozen points, dished out three assists and stole the ball twice. Senior
Jessica Carrothers and redshirt freshman
Magdalena Winter each netted six points respectively.
