CHICAGO – The UIC baseball team (4-10-1, 0-0 MVC) will play at home for the first time this season after 15 games on the road, in a three game series against UNC Greensboro (7-11, 0-0 SoCon) at Curtis Granderson Stadium. SCOUTING UNC GREENSBORO

• This series will be the first ever meeting between the Flames and Spartans.
• UNC Greensboro won its most recent game, defeating North Carolina A&T 9-7 Wednesday night.
• Junior Jacob Dilley leads the Spartans in batting average (.388), walks (nine) and home runs (three).
• Redshirt Senior Hunter Shuey leads the Spartans pitching staff with 23 strikeouts in 16 innings pitched.

NORTHWESTERN RECAP

• The Flames tied Northwestern 3-3 with the game being called following the ninth inning due to darkness on Tuesday.
• Starter Aidan Terronez and reliever Mark Eddie led the way for the Flames pitching staff with four strikeouts a piece.
• Jake Busson and Gavin Acosta recorded RBI for the Flames.
