CORALVILLE, IOWA – The No. 7 seeded UIC women's basketball team (14-18, 9-12 MVC) dropped its opening round match-up against No. 10 seed Evansville (8-24, 6-15 MVC) in the 2026 Credit Union 1 Missouri Valley Conference Women's Basketball Tournament Thursday night, 76-71.
Redshirt sophomore
Julia Coleman led all scorers with 21 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Senior
Amelia Strong scored 18 points on 10 free throws and grabbed seven rebounds. Senior
Jessica Carrothers scored 12 points and dished out a pair of rebounds
