LOUISVILLE, Ky. – In their third event of the 2026 spring season, the UIC golf team placed fifth at Louisville's Cardinal Classic, competing against four other schools. The Flames shot 69-over-par as a team in two rounds of play.
The Flames were led by sophomore
Alejandra Ereño who placed 16th (+14). Joining Ereño in the top-20 is fellow sophomore
Camille Rosier, who placed 19th (+16)
FLAMES FACTS
- Ereño shot a team best round of three-over-par during the first round of play. The 75 score round is tied for her season best.
- The Flames recorded eight birdies collectively, with Ereño leading the team with three birdies across her 36 holes of play.
- Rosier's 19th place finish is her seventh top 20 finish of the season.
