TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -Â The UIC golf team is set to compete in the Indiana State Invitational Sunday and Monday, April 12-13 at the Country Club of Terre Haute. This two-day event will feature competitive teams from several universities, including Valparaiso, Evansville, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, Eastern Illinois, and host Indiana State.

In its previous outing at the Louisville Cardinal Classic, UIC finished in fifth place in its third event of the spring season. The Flames collectively shot 69-over-par across two rounds. Leading the team was sophomore
Alejandra Ereño, who secured the 16th spot with a score of +14.
Ereño's standout performance included a team-best round of three-over-par during the first round, matching her season-best score of 75. Additionally, she led the team with three birdies over 36 holes. Her teammate, fellow sophomore
Camille Rosier, also delivered a noteworthy performance, finishing 19th with a score of +16. This marks
Rosier's seventh top-20 finish of the season.
