CHICAGO – Fresh off UIC baseball's first Missouri Valley Conference regular season and tournament titles and a trip to the NCAA regionals, Flames head coach
Sean McDermott and the program's alumni group announced Wednesday they will be hosting the inaugural UIC Baseball Golf Outing on Friday, Sept. 4 at the Bloomingdale Golf Club in Bloomingdale, Ill.
"This inaugural event brings together, alumni, supporters, and friends of the program for a great day on the course, all while helping build the future of UIC baseball," McDermott said. "What a great way to start your Labor Day Weekend! We encourage everyone to register now and enjoy a great day of golf, while reconnecting with friends, teammates and coaches."
The festivities get underway with a 7 a.m. (CT) registration, followed by an 8 a.m. (CT) shotgun start for a four-person scramble competition. Once competitors make their way through the par-71 course at Bloomingdale, the outing will conclude with a post-round reception featuring food, drinks, program updates and raffle prizes (with tickets available for purchase throughout the event).
Sponsorship opportunities are available for the outing, including golf ball sponsor, pin flag & hole sponsors and exclusive cart sponsor packages. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit UIC baseball and the members of the program. For more information on registration and sponsorships, please
