Tulsa, Okla. -The UIC softball team will have to settle for being named co-champions this week.

That's because after going 2-0 in opening-day action at the 2002 Holiday Inn-Select Festival, the tournament was cancelled after over eight inches of snow fell on the area.

The Flames share the crown with host Tulsa.

UIC will be back in action next week in Tampa, Fla., as they compete in the Speedline Invitational.
