UIC Softball Game Notes in PDF Format 
LOS ANGELES - The UIC softball team returns to the west for this weekend's Loyola Marymount Invitational, hosted by LMU in Los Angeles, Calif.
The Flames (1-3 overall, 0-0 Horizon) kick things off on Friday at 10 a.m. CST against Seattle, before playing tournament host Loyola Marymount later in the afternoon.
Saturday will pit UIC against Cal State Bakersfield and the host Lions in back-to-back games in the afternoon. Sunday features a single contest against CSUB before the Flames return back to Chicago.
UIC is currently led by senior Melissa Marinacci and Stephanie Chavez, who both batted .417 during last weekend's tournament in Las Vegas.
