LOS ANGELES - Due to ongoing torrential downpour in Los Angeles, play at the Loyola Marymount Invitational has been suspended for the rest of Friday.
The Flames were scheduled to take on host LMU at 4 p.m. CST, but persistent rains forced the 2 p.m. contest between Loyola Marymount and Cal State Bakersfield to halt play in the bottom of the second inning.
If the weather and field conditions are favorable for playing on Saturday morning, UIC and LMU will play after Loyola completes their delayed game which has a scheduled start time of 8 a.m.
Saturday's game against Cal State Bakersfield, originally scheduled for 2 p.m., is the fifth game on tomorrow's docket.
Because of the poor weather conditions, Gametracker will unlikely be up and running for the remainder of the weekend.
