"I was excited to see we snuck by Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Wisconsin-Green Bay, but we will have to do a better job against Valparaiso and Youngstown State," head coach Jim Knoedelsaid. "Our top three runners continue to do a job and Ariel (Kirby) and Vanessa (Connelly) are closing the gap on the number-three spot."

Grand Valley State (40 points) won the gold division and Northwestern (56 points) was runner-up. Youngstown State (280 points) placed tenth to lead the Horizon League teams.
