CHICAGO - The UIC volleyball team has a 5-0 record to begin the season as the squad dropped Montana State, 3-1 (18-25, 25-15, 25-22, 15-14) Saturday at the Flames Athletic Center in Chicago, Ill. Junior
Kelsey Safranek (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove South) led the match in kills with 17.
"I thought that everyone that came in today contributed," said head coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley. "Aubrey (Sniegowski) came in and had a kill, Tia (Incapreo) was passing well and Jacqueline (Lang) with her serving. Everyone was ready to go and it was a great team win."
