UIC Softball Holiday Catcher's Clinic
CHICAGO - The UIC softball coaching staff, headed by Michelle Venturella, welcomes athletes ages 8-18 to participate in the annual UIC Softball Holiday Clinics on Sunday, Dec. 15. Three clinics will be offered to focus on hitting, pitching and catching.
"We are very excited to offer the holiday clinics once again," head coach Michelle Venturella said. "It is wonderful to reach out to the community and get to know the young women that are the future of our sport. The clinics are tailored to have campers who are just starting out, as well as those who are more experienced. We are all looking forward to another great clinic in December."
The hitting clinic will run from 9 a.m. to noon CT, followed by the pitching and catching sessions scheduled from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and will take place in the large gym and UIC indoor hitting facility in the Physical Education Building on UIC's campus at 901 W. Roosevelt Road, Chicago, IL 60608.
