ROCHESTER, Mich. - Due to lightning and rain in the Rochester area, the No. 2 UIC softball team had its game against No. 3 Wright State suspended in the ninth inning. Positioned in a 5-5 tie, the Flames and Raiders will resume play on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. CT. The winner will advance to play No. 1 Oakland in the championship game.

The game was stopped in the top of the ninth with two outs for Wright State and a runner at first.
