A full day of competition awaits the UIC swimming and diving teams Saturday. The squads will make a short trip north to Evanston, where Northwestern, Rutgers, and Chicago will gather for a quad meet.
The Flames' men's team, 1-1 on the season, will face an always-tough Northwestern squad, and a Chicago team that is ranked in Division III's top ten and returns nine All-Americans. The men defeated Valparaiso in their opener two weeks ago, and took a loss to Green Bay in the tri-meet.
UIC's women bring a perfect 3-0 record into the pool. They have a Horizon League win under their belt but will be challenged by two Big Ten opponents and a reloading Maroon squad.

- Abby Kunze was a top finisher in the backstroke events last time out and contributed to a relay win.
- Sophia Shalabi and Jessica Amyette swept the breaststroke races. Shalabi also was on two winning relay teams, and Amyette finished second to Hines in the IM.
- Freshman Cydney Liebenberg has been the Flames' top diver on the 1 and 3 meter boards in both meets to date.
