Baseball Time Shuffled Against Chicago State

Time moved from 6:05 pm to 4:05 pm start

CHICAGO - The Flames return to the friendly confines of Curtis Granderson Stadium to face non-conference rival Chicago State (9-27) on Tuesday afternoon.  First pitch has been moved from 6:05 pm to a 4:05 p.m. CT start.

The Flames and Chicago State have met twice this season with UIC taking both contests.  UIC blanked the Cougars, 8-0, on March 9 in the home opener at Granderson Stadium.  Jake Dahlberg tossed six scoreless innings allowing just one hit and three total baserunners.  In the second matchup, the Flames won 4-3 at Chicago State as Mickey McDonald collected two hits and scored a pair of runs.

UIC (28-9, 16-3 Horizon League) has won 16 of its last 18 games and own a stellar 17-2 record at home.  The Flames have won eight straight nonconference games dating back to March 7.  UIC had its season-high, nine-game winning streak snapped on Sunday at Northern Kentucky, a 6-2 setback.
