UIC will jump right into action at the ITA Midwest Regional, where play starts Friday.

Three Flames – Agnes Gustafsson, Dominika Hrabalova, and Ana Jover – qualified for regionals based on their results throughout last season.  All three will play in the single-elimination singles tournament, and Gustafsson and Jover will play together in doubles.

Gustafsson is seeded 28^th in the singles draw, and will receive a bye to the round of 64.  She will play the winner of the first-round match between Katarina Drazic of Chicago State and Illinois' Shivani Ingle.

Hrabalova will face Dani Schoenly from Ohio State, and Jover will take on Eastern Michigan's Sabina Brichackova, in the first round.  Both of those matches will start at 11:15 Friday morning.

Jover and Gustafsson will start the day at 9:00 with a round of 64 doubles match against an Eastern Michigan duo.

The tournament will be held at the Atkins Tennis Center in Champaign.  Later rounds will continue Saturday and Sunday.  Play begins at 9:00 a.m. each day, and select matches will be streamed at this link.
